First Samboree and trip home - Coach in Shop!

Well, I'm in Brunswick, at Son Bob's home, without the Coach.
I was .5 miles from his home when the Coach died. I was able to get it to the side of the road, wheels still on road but a fairly safe spot for a while. I tried to get it going but no deal. I called emergency Road service and the Brunswick police. I had to call 911 to get the police. Police sent a wrecker service, service man, but he couldn't get it started. The lights on the dash came on, I really can't remember now something like Alt charge and ? Transmission.
This nice gentleman called a bigger wrecker service and told me which Diesel shop they would be taking the Coach to. It was one Ira's had taken used a few year ago.
Wited Ford an RV dealer and repair in Auburn Maine.
I relayed this information to my ERS (Emergency Road Service).
My ERS called back had a campground ready for me . I told her I didn't need a campground.
I will go tomorrow and check. I guess I will have to write and let you know tomorrow.
Thinking about this experience. I'm glad it happened here. I'm learning how to handle the situation in a more comfort zone. It could have happened on my way south. I have to look at all positive.
Listen to this, an angel, named Diane came to the rescue. As I was sitting, talking to the service man, a lady appeared at the coach door and asked if I needed help, Phone or something. I told her what happened, she hung around. We talked and got acquainted.
I went to pay, service man, with Discovery and he said,"We don't take Discovery"
My Angel, said "You can charge it to my credit card". Can you believe that? I said I had a visa hidden somewhere, so it was OK. She said well if you can't find it use mine. Is That a WOW!!!
I have a new friend, she is a widow and will be retiring in May, has children in Florida in the Villages. This isn't too far from where I camp.
She drove me to Bob's and I will see her this week, have a cup of tea and let her know what happened.

Samboree

About The Samboree. It was so much easier than I thought it would be.
It was so comforting to see so many of our friends. So many hugs and words of comfort. They shared what was special about Ira to them. I got so much encouragement. I could feel the prayers from my Friend who knew I was going.
Prudy walked over to see how I was doing so she could report to our other friends. How can I be so Blessed to have Friends like that?

I had a Friend, Karen, who use to go to the Samborees, she called and asked if the offer of a bed was still open. Thursday and Friday she didn't have to work, said she would come for two days. Ya! so, Thursday afternoon, she came.
She helped me carry my Seminar Things and tried to keep me where I was suppose to be and on time. She called a co-worker and got her to work Saturday So Karen was there all weekend. She's a lucky gal. She won part of the "Pot of Gold" drawing. $214, good for her! So, the weekend was good for both of us.

I repeated the "Full Time" Seminar. People love it and some wanted it again and others didn't get a chance to come on Friday.
Doing the Seminars and being with all our friends was very healing for me and I know, as I continue it will get easier.
I'm so blessed.

Thanks to you all for your love, prayers and support.
