PVP RVResort Pa.

Wed. April, 23, 2008

Well, I had and interesting trip here.

I left Alabama Sunday. I had a good trip to northern Ga. almost 300 miles.

When I was ready to leave Monday morning. A tire on the Coach looked low. It was, It took a while for me to get air in it. I have the hose and air on the coach to do this. Would you believe my Van had a dead battery. I charged it and I was on my way.

I traveled to Ft Chriswell Campground in Vr. I drove almost 300 miles. When I arrived I had a dead battery again. Got it charged. When I was getting ready to leave Tuesday morning. Dead battery again ( Remember this is a new battery). I got it charged and I'm confused.

I tried to bring the bedroom slide in and it wouldn't move. I called ERS. A technician came out and we got the slide in. I will have to call company and see about the slide this is the second time this has happened.

I'm beginning to think I need someone with me. This isn't fun alone.

Tuesady, I traveled over 400 miles to PA. I visited a friend and her family. I can't believe their twins are seniors and when I arrived they came out to see me in their Prom dresses. What beautiful young ladies.

I got the Coach turned around and the van hooked so I would be ready in the morning. Steve charged the dead battery and in the morning he charged it again.

I traveled about 95 miles to the PVP campground. I had the van battery charged again. Someone out there must know what is happening. I have heard some say they have had this problem. If you know, please let me know. It's such a mystery to me. The van traveled to Ga, to Al. and to northern Ga. with no problems. The problems started in northern Ga. on the way north. I'm thinking it doesn't want to go to Maine.

If you have so ideas please let me know.

I'm here at the campground and Fiday, 12 -14 State Directors will be arriving for the Region 5 meeting.

Sunday, I will start for Maine. Please pray for a safe trip and answere to the van problem.

We are so sorry you are having problems. Since the battery has discharged so many times it will need to be replaced. Since it is a new battery, check with the store that it was purchased and see if they will replace it.

After you get a new battery, Camping World has a gadget called a Battery Brain for $89 PC price. It will monitor your battery and disconnect battery before it gets too low to start the van.

Hope this is helpful. Take care and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

You've had a recurring problem with that van battery, haven't you? Have you tried taking the van to a dealer? There may be a recall or service bulletin on it.

Good luck!
