Hi Friends, I'm still in Patten in Ira's brothers yard. Ira's sister,Donna and Bob are here also.
It's good to be able to stay here for awhile. We had a great Bates family reunion over last weekend. Now it visiting and playing cards at night.
The other night we went to a music night. There are a lot of this during the summer up here. All the musicians get together play and sing. Spectators watch, listen and dance. Brother-in-law, George got me dancing, Polka,waltz and jitter bugging. Can't believe I wasn't lame the next morning. I did sleep later than usual. I blamed that on the rain. Wonder what it really was.
I'm getting my mail at Don & Jean's we call them cousin but just good ole friends.
The summer is going fast.
In case some of you haven't heard. Our friend Pat Newsome is going to get married to Sherman Heaton from Florida. They have been together since April, Great match. Hope you all wish them the best.
Safe and fun summer for you all. Time goes fast so be sure to make some great memories.
