Happy New Year from Danville IL

Sunday Dec. 28, 2008
I hope you all had a great Christmas. I'm having a good time with the Lockhart family. It's so good to see the college kids. Of course they have their things they have to do. Derek is working during his time off from college and Hillary has a lot of friends to visit.

WE are spending a lot of time in the living room. The kids and I are on computers . we talk some but this modern age is the electronic age. We talk and write to each other easy, It'. My brother, Jim, understands. We did the same thing when I was there. OH live and learn.

I have learned, I hope, to transfer pictures, label them and I have sent some.

My daughter has been trying to get me to go on WWW.Facebook.com because : It's fun, It's easy, a lot of our relatives are on it, the grandchildren are on it and I would be able to know what they are doing. She showed me how and I did it, think it's easier. I can write short note and anyone can check and write back.

I was hoping to put less time on the computer, but I think I like it, There are no forwards, I don't think. So far, It's write a note all your friends that go on can read it and respond.
You might check it out to see if it will be easier for you.

That's the excitement for the week, Nice for a change.

Hugs and Have a very Special New Year.
Rosemary
