Hi Everyone, We had a great trip to Aruba. We arrived at our Time share, Sat 1am, tired but it was a good trip.
Sunday, as we were walking to the area grocery store, a man (Salesman)on a four wheeler asked if we would help him earn some money by listening to promotion. We said, no, we had grocery shopping. He said it too expensive to shop here. wait ten minutes, I'll get my car and will take you to the super market, bring you back and then I can earn some money and you can get a $100 thank you gift. What else did we have to do, so we said OK.
Danny gave us a great tour and lots of great information as we went to store and back.
We listened to the Time share promotion and after some time persuading them, we were not interested. Being married for such a short time we couldn't make this big decision. Well, we were offered a free trip and small fee for a week next year. We said no.
The next morning 6:15 am we are walking to the beach. It was about 1 1/4 miles from the time share. We left early because we wanted to see the sun rise. Guess what? little did we know we
know the sun rose outside our deck, not the beach. Wrong side of the island.
It was a fun island. Hot but always a nice breeze. Clean and interesting to just walk and watch.
Our time share had two pools , activities all the time if you wanted to join in. An outdoor restaurant for meal and happy hour.
They said 85-90% of the visitors are return visitors. It is a great place to just relax.
WE did have a great time. Phil & Martha, picked us up at the airport. WE went for a snack. Cracker Barrell and the Apple dumpling. It's a great dessert, Try it it's big enough for two. Noi calories if eaten with friends.
We picked up some grocries ans got back to coach around midnight,Sat.
Sunday we moved the coach back to the Clerbrook RV resort, We will be here for two weeks.
I have been real busy trying to catch up with phone calls, maile , E-mails and this Blog.
Oh and trying to get the taxes done. Still haven't recieved some of the infoprmation I need to send. Oh Well.
