Rangeley experience

Thursday, Sept. 10,2009

Wow! Labor Day over, where did the time go?

We went to Rangeley for 6 days. Thurs. While Al mowed the lawn I started painting the deck railings. Al finished and I had the hard job to read. We will paint the deck next time we go up.

Fri. We hiked to "Angel Falls" a beautiful hick. If I can figure , or find the cords to post pictures from Al's phone, I will. If not I will take my camera next time.

Marla & Ken arrived in the evening and we had the fire going. It's fun to sit in front of the fire.

Sat. The boys played lumber men again and cut a down a big tree and cut it up. We Gals had a hard job of keeping out of the way and reading. Someone has to do it.

Sunday, We took a walk up a rushing brook to a little small water fall. We met three groups of people on our way out.

Monday, We went kayaking on the Mooselickmaguntlick Lake, a big one. It was a beautiful day .
We couldn't believe there were so few people there. The last weekend of the season and one of the best weather wise. I guess the economy kept them home. We are Blessed we can still do this.

Marla & Ken took Tuesday off so we had the extra day. The boys worked during the weekend, taking the screens out, wrapping the camp and awning, getting it ready for winter.

Al's other daughter and family do more winter sports , so they will use it more in the winter.

We got home late Tues. afternoon. Al is now getting ready to go fly fishing with Ken next week. This is an annual thing they do.

I haven't decided what I will do yet. Probably take day trips and visit friends..

We will be getting ready to head south soon. We will go to IL . my daughter's, the TN & MS, Samboree then on to Fl.

I guess that's a little up date.

Safe travels and remember make memories. Hugs Rosemary
