Visit to Leesburg Hospital

Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007
Hi, I had told the caretakers at the hospital, that we would come back on this date so they could see how well we were getting along. Caretakers work hard and most of the time they are forgotten and they do not know how well the patients are doing. So I promised we would come back.

Well, They did a lot for both of us and I need to let them know, Ira is on the other side with a new healthy spirit. MY angel. I needed to let them know I was OK.

I appreciate my freinds who were concerned about me doing this so soon. Thanks for your concern and the extra prayers. It worked. It was not as hard as I thought it would be. I had to pass Ira's room to enter the unit. I was a little concerned about that. I walked in looked at the room, it wasn't Ira's, it didn't have cards, it didn't have music.

As I entered Cage, the secretary, came running to me and right behind her was Bless, one of Ira's nurses. They had been waiting for me. How could I feel bad when they were so pleased. We went in to the nurses kitchen lounge and there were two Respitory therapists, They call another therapist Beth, she came with a big smile and hug.
Cage called some of the other caregivers and Dr Faranis. They came. It was so nice getting the hard hug from the Dr. and he said he had been thinking about Ira, and shared it with me.

Two of the three nurses that was with me the morning Ira passed, came. It was great.
I will need to go in some evening and weekend to see those that do those shifts.

With all the prayers, this journey has been easier also.

Thanks you all so much.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving. Remember Build memories, they turn into Treasures.

Love you & Hugs R
