Hi, Happy May day, I remember when I was a child we made baskets and ran around to special people and left them. Oh what fun. Did any of you do that? Do children still do it?
Well, I'm in Maine. I thought it was spring but two days of cold, windy, rain and waking up today with temp of 33 wasn't too friendly.
It's still great to be home. I'm parked in my son's yard. Everyone looks so good. Great to be home.
How was my trip. I hope you don't bored with what happens.
I left the State Directors meeting in Pa. It was a wonderful, sharing and I feel very productive meeting. 11 of the 14 Directors were there.
I left with Dick/Judy(NH) and Diane/Martin (ME). I planned to travel with them. We planned to stop at exit 10 in Ct. for lunch, great restaurant. Well, it was Sunday and all the church people were there also. Dick , 5th wheel could back in space, Martin could back in. I couldn't. I drove around but there just wasn't a space and I didn't want to up hook the van. I would have traveled alone so I said I would go on and meet up with them at a rest area.
I drove on, stopped at a rest area for lunch, called them and I had taken a different road than they were taking. I went on and missed a turn off, because the GPS jammed ( I didn't realize it had), thought I had more miles before turning off) so I went to 95 instead of 495. Oh well, It was busier but I got through and learned another lesson.
I arrived earlier, Monday, at Cummings for service. They had time and started working on the coach instead of waiting for the Tuesday for the appointment. They were wonderful to me.
I asked questions about fuel additives and If I need them. There are so many products being sold at Samborees, they say you have to have. They answered a lot of questions and gave me a schedule for future service. Michael give me his card call or E-mail if I have a problem, he will get the answer or refer me. Can't ask for better service. The the oil & Filters were changes, Checked the generator and chassis, They checked and did what needed to be done.
I had a leaking gasket of the oil pan , (I hope I said that right) that was changed. I had algae in the fuel, they showed me the oil filter and what it looked like. They put a treatment in the tank and when I fill up again I put the rest of the bottle in. I have extra filters with me because I will have to have them change when the treatment is done or if I have a problem. They said most anyone can change the filters, so I may have to call on my friends if it happens on the road.
Kara, my daughter-in law, directed me into the yard. She did a great job, standing in the pouring cold, rain. I have a wonderful daughter-in-law and family.
I woke up with a beeping, What now? I tracked it to the passenger seat area and found it had something to do with the key less entry. I called Monaco, They think it got moisture but it doesn't look like moisture could get in but I unhooked the wires and I will have to get it checked at a dealers. I will need to use the key less control to lock and open. I can't do it manually.
I ordered from Monaco the hot water heater cover, which came off while I was driving. It will arrive in a week, It will be white and I will have to have it painted.
I called People Plus and I will go to find out what activities are going on so I will have a chance to meet some people in the area and stay in a place longer. Trying to slow down a little, but I need to do something.
Yesterday I got my paper work and mail done.
E-mail working OK
I will be here until May 21. I will leave for Ma. to the Samboree and then be on the road for 5 weeks.
I will write when I start on the road so you will know and I will continue get the wonderful prayers of safety you guys are sending.
Thanks, Love & Hugs Rosemary
