We had a great time with our friends in Al. A wonderful week.
Gloria Jane stayed with us and Pat & Sherman surprised us by coming also.
It was a busy week, seminars and visiting. Everyone got to meet Al and said I did a good job.
Good thing he's here to stay.
The weather reports were bad so we left early Sunday morning, drove to NC for the night. Next day We drove to Pa. Camping was real nosey so we didn't sleep well. Tues weather caught up with us and it was so windy and rainy that when we came to first rest area in MA. I said "Pull over we don't need to drive in this". It was 2 0/c but felt good to get off the road. WE left early Wed. Am and arrived in Randolph, My new home around noon.
The van battery died about three hours after we started our trip, so we didn't fix the problem. There was an article in the FMCA magazine, someone was having the same problem, Suggested a shut off at the battery when towed. My Brother in Law Hollis suggested this a long time ago. I guess we have to try it. I think now it might be the Brake system I attach when I tow. I don't always hitch it up and when I don't no problem.
Thanks to everyone who has tried to figure this out for me.
Well, Now I'm in a big house. How does it feel? A little funny, Things in the coach I need. Then it put it back so when we go on the road I will have it. Most of you know what I'm talking about because you have been doing it for years. So much room and so many thing s in the home.
Al is mowing the lawn and I did some cooking because we are going to go to camp and rake leaves and get it ready for summer. I don't know what's there or what I will need. Can you see how spoiled I have been to only have one place to think about, Now It's three. But I have Al to help so It's so much better.
WE have been busy visiting relatives and friends here and running to the store to get things.
Al's granddaughter is getting married in a couple of weeks. I thought I was ready, I had my dress. Pam asked if flowers would damage the fabric. I said no. Then we looked at mother's dress and brides. So beautiful. I asked about groom's mother's dress and grandmother's all are long. I'm in trouble I'm grampy's wife, I can't wear a dress, I need a long dress, so we went shopping and got the dress and shoes. Wow, a bigger family and more to think about and do. I have more to learn. It's a wonderful family and they are being great to me. I'm so Blessed.
So I guess that's it for now.
Safe travels and had a great summer. I'll check back before we go on the road so you will know we are moving again.
Hugs to all and love ya.
