On The Road to TN

Wed. Oct. 14,2009

Well, we had an exciting trip so far, at least I'm not alone.

We went to have the Coach check-up. While there the Ref. door fell off. I called Norcold and they said they would send one, to daughter's in IL.

Ref was causing problems, the LP wouldn't stay lit. I decided to go to Raper's RV in IN to have them look at it and the Van which the battery is still going dead.

We looked at 08 & 09 rigs. We would like to get a gas and a shorter one, now that We are only using it mostly in the winter and the Samborees. We found one, great deal, I said yes, then I got nervous, I prayed and said if the Ref is working tomorrow I won't take it.
In the am, Ref. working good. I defrosted the ice maker and that is doing great, so we don't have to make a quick decision.

We left for Cheryl's, Sat. expected the Ref. door Mon, (Oh a Holiday), called and it hadn't been sent yet. It finally came today, Wed. So Al put the door on and we started our trip.

I wanted to check camping World to see if they had a switch for the hook up to the lubrication motor to the van. It's nosy and at Rapers the mechanic said he thought it was burnt out. Hay, another challenge.

Those following the dead battery problems. The mechanic said it was wired wrong and they put another wire on. Hope it solves the problem. The switch on the battery , I was told about , would stop the lubrication motor from working. Glad I didn't try that.

We are parked here for the night. WE might, If we have time, Stop at Camping World in Bolling Green, Ky on the to Lebonan, TN.

Have fun, HUgs R
