Hi Dear Friends
A comment I got last week. "I guess you are too busy, are you forgetting your friends?"
NO Way. It just seems there aren't as many challenges or excitement this year. I shouldn't say that being newly married, but I think you know what I mean.
I had the 5 Samborees, one after the other last year and some accidents. We have done 5 this year but they have been spread apart and no accidents. It could be because I'm sharing the driving and have someone to direct me.
I got to tell you, Al loves to drive, like all men. I start out in the AM and when we stop for gas or whatever, He jumps in the drivers seat. It's his time. It's funny if we stop again he get right back in drivers seat. It's really OK, I'm getting my reading done.
Now that I have a home there is so much more to think about. I really don't have to think, He does it. Good , right? We went Tues. looking for lawn mowers. Well, being full time, for so long. I didn't know what a lawn mower was or what they are used for. Of course, I won't use it anyway. That's a boy thing. HA HA.
After that we went grocery shopping. We spent more than we have ever spent. It blew Al's mind. OH , Well. " Go with the flow"
Al has been working hard to get the protective shield off, above the windshield. It had stress cracks and brown spots all over it. It looked so bad. He finally got it off, now he is having a hard time getting the glue or what ever it is off. That's another job.
On the way to Pa Samboree, a rock hit the windshield and we got a crack. A window repair man fixed it at the Samboree but it still shows. It was a bad one but hope it doesn't spread.
Yesterday , We went to visit my brother Jim & Joyce at their summer camping spot on the river. We had a great visit. They live in Fl and they stood up for us when we got married.
They are always there if I need them. He calls frequently to remind us that's it's Happy Hour.
We don't want to forget that , you know how important red wine is for you health.
I guess I have caught you up with things so far. I will try to do better and let you know about my training progress.
Keep laughing and be happy, you will live longer.
Love & Hugs to all.
Rosemary & Al
