We arrived in Alaska

Sun. July 11, 2010

WE finally arrived in Alaska last night at 10:30 . Alaska is Pacific time, 4 hours earlier that eastern time.

WE spent 7 days in Whitehorse YK, waiting at the Ford garage waiting to us and fix our Fuel pump. When the big day came , They were finally going to get to us, They decided it was too big a job, WE were too big, The gas tank was too big, the jacks had to come off and in other words. They just were not able to handle the job. They should have know earlier.

They found a truck repair place that could take us and have a man work over time Sat.
WE were lucky, with Al rapped the gas tank, I turned the key, The coach started so we were able to drive it to the repair shop.

They started Sat Am and we were ready for the road Sat. around 3. WE headed for Alaska.

Al drove over 8 hours to get here. Now remember 10 :30 here looks like 6 O/c in Maine. Still day light.

We leave tomorrow Not sure which direction. I will try to keep better updates.
